The Hall is licensed for civil weddings and partnerships and can cater for up to 100 guests. Set in 300 acres of parkland, Glemham Hall is also an ideal venue for a marquee wedding reception; a marquee capable of seating up to 200 guests is permanently set up in the picturesque gardens, from where many of the original Elizabethan aspects of the Hall can still be seen.

Situated in idyllic North Suffolk, Athelington Hall is an exceptional venue for the perfect 'Country Wedding'.
Picture your wedding day. The marriage takes place in the 14th century parish Church of St Peter surrounded by your friends and family. After a few traditional photographs in the shaded church yard, a Horse and Carriage awaits to transport you up the ancient tree-lined drive to your Reception.
Set in the picturesque gardens our impressive custom made marquee can cater for up to 250 guests seated, or 400 for a buffet. It is also possible to create a smaller more intimate wedding setting.
The real beauty of Athelington Hall is that it is so private, it also offers couples a families to turn their event into a mini break. Five fully furnished and equipped log cabins nestle in the grounds, sleeping up to 6 adults and has its own little verandas - absolutely perfect for sipping a glass of celebration champagne to complete the end to your perfect day. We can also recommend hotels in the area for guests who wish to stay in the area overnight.

Bateman's Barn is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and the history and setting make it a peaceful and relaxed but above all, memorable location to get married.
The Barn can accommodate 80 guests for an all seated ceremony and, if desired, drinks and canapés are served in our courtyard whilst the bride and groom make use of our gardens and medieval ruins for their photographs.

The large garden with roses, honeysuckle, lavender and copper beech, tulip and Judas trees provides a beautiful sunny reception area and a perfect backdrop for quiet bands to play and for relaxed and informal wedding photographs.

Deep in the wooded heathlands of Suffolk's Heritage coast, 20 minutes drive from Aldeburgh with its famous festival and concert hall, lies BUTLEY PRIORY, all that remains of the Augustinian monastery founded in 1171. Set in its own 7 acres, within an area of outstanding natural beauty, the building is a unique example of 14th century architecture, and retains something of the peace and serenity of those ancient days.
Wedding Ceremonies are held in the GREAT HALL for which we are licensed for up to 90 people. Afterwards canapés and drinks are served on the South Terrace (or if inclement in the Great Hall). The Priory abounds with photo opportunities and photographs can be taken either inside or in the garden or meadow.
